Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Fly (Heleomyzidae maybe???)

This fly was found yesterday at La Peņa, Huesca, NE Spain, pre-pyrenees, 500 meters, mediterranean-alpine transition climate. Size as a Musca domestica. Could it be identified?

at least it in's S. variegata I hope! It lacks the dark spots in the wings.

really it's a Suillia sp. (female) and not variegata !

Thanks is good to know taht it isn't S. variegata, the one that I already photographed. And then what species can be?
