Size 14mm, taken in Vilamaior (Lugo) NW Spain during august 2008 at 450 mts.
Habitat:- oak woodland meadow seemed to be quite frequent.

Peleteria sp. ... you can see 2 "Peleteria bristles" clearly on both photos, located between the lower eye margin and the mouth :)

I don't think it is possible to go further in southern Europe from photos.

Excellent photos, by the way.

I can't see the palps but it looks very much like P. rubescens: black antennae, very broad parafacialia.
