Hi

I was in Zaragoza in final August 2008. I went to the Pirineos with my friend Isidro to spot rare beauties. Unfortunately there was a storm after one hour of field trip, and we could have just only a glimpse of the richness in PLAN - Pirineos. But the few minutes we had there were gold. We spot the rare Halidaya aurea - another tachinid. We also spot the Stylogymnomyia nitens. And a beautiful symphyt wasp on Daucus carota, and other stuff. ;)
This is, I think, a Dexiosoma cf. caninum (Tachinidae). Maybe Theo or CHris or Jaako can confirm.. or not...
