Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Lonchoptera species?

23 februari 2008, The Netherlands, Lauwersmeer.

This dark specimen resembles the Lonchoptera from thread 11704 very much. That species is called L. lutea, but i wonder if it could be a different species, from coastal areas?

Perhaps a Lonchopteridaespecialist can tell me.?

I don't know if we have any real Lonchoptera specialists on the forum, but I can tell you that L. lutea is highly variable in colouration.

Does L. lutea have all black antennae?
