In cataloguing the last tephritid photo I found one from last year that I don't have a name for - see below. Can anyone suggest a name for this too? :D

Sorry, it's
Trypetoptera punctulata, a Sciomyzidae and not a Tephritid. Though it looks quite nice for a non-Tephritid ;)

That would neatly explain why I can never identify this species in the HIBI key to tephritids then!! ;) Thanks again... this one gets moved to the 'Sciomyzidae' folder, along with my vast collection of
Coremacera marginata photos! :D
