hi flyforum,

First I thought it was Rhagio sp., the fly puts its mouth many times on the ground and the bottom in the air.. (this attitude I know from Rhagio sp.)

but then I saw it was a Doli sp. with giant legs!
On the top of the wing, it got a white spot!
It must be a male, looking at the end of the tergite.
Nice 'rainbow-coloured' thorax..

What kind of Doli is this? (neuro..?)

greeting robert,

I'd say a male Liancalus virens.
