This fly was visiting the fig tree at Banka Banka Station, Northern Territory, Australia. It is about 5mm and I am sure I have seen a fly that waves its front legs about in this fashion and has these distinctive white ?metatarsi somewhere on this forum, but I cannot find them.

Any ideas what this fly might be?
