...and stolen by a Panorpa (Mecoptera).

Can this 10 mm fly be assigned to a family? Found on Sept-18 at a hedge, northwest Germany.

Thank you! I had thought of some Gonia like Tachinid, because the space between the eyes seemed so broad...

The space between the eyes is not so large, .... if you could see it from the dorsal side !
