This fly was very near the water in the river Mijares, in Valbona, teruel, NE Spain, in company of Ochthera cf. mantispa and Lispe tentaculata. Bigger than Ochthera, smaller than Lispe, more or less intermediate between these two. Habitat: small river with many trees and shade. Medium-sized, rounded stones, some lime, many weeds in the border (Phragmites, Typha, Alisma, Mentha, etc) and not deep water.

J. Mota Almeida caught this one, I think (I'm not sure).

Can be identified?
Thanks,
Regards

no!!! this is not Ephydrid! This is a Dolichopodidae. A Liancalus. :) No, I didn't catch this one. ;)
Maybe L. virens

If Igor did not give a species I doubt it can be identified any further. ;)
