This very big one was two days ago in Anz?nigo, Huesca, NE Spain at 500 meters, always trying to suck me until I caugthed it. It sizes about 25 mm (without proboscis). If somebody need characters not visible in these pictures for ID this, I have the specimen collected.

Tell me what need you for identify it and tomorrow I will take photos of the details taht you need.

I'm happy for your back to "second home". I would be ha`ppy if you can take a look in "Eggs, larvae, pupae" about a tabanid larave tirled "Aquatic big larva".
