Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Sphegina sp?

Hello!

A very small Syrphid (4 mm). When it was flying I first thought of a small Ichneumidae wasp. At a relatively moist place of the forest on Aegopodium podagraria, June-06, northwest Germany.

Thanks. I did wait, if one of the experts would make a suggestion. Is it not possible? Here two new photos of a balloon belly B) female from yesterday.

This one has a more reddish abdomen.

May well be two different species. Identifying Sphegina based on pictures is too risky (for me).

Thanks nevertheless, Andre! Found on the same plant at the same place, I concluded it must have been the same species...

In that case it's assumably the same species.
