Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Cheilosia with hairy eyes

Hi,
Recently I met this Cheilosia on a Euphorbia in our arboretum. I suppose it is not C. variabilis, but may be I am wrong. What do the experts say?

Looks like a female Cheilosia proxima or a similar species.
