May one of the larger Mycetophiloidea, I guess Mycetophilidae or Keroplatidae.

Thx. The larva was not huge, but pretty sizable for the above mentioned families. It fed on rottening wood.

I would have to say that it is a Tipulid larva.

It was about 12 mm long or so.
