Thread subject: Diptera.info :: [Calliopum aeneum] Calliopum

Hello,

We are reasonably confident about the genus, Calliopum, but we are not convinced that we can identify the species of this fly. I find that it looks very much like some specimens identified as Calliopum aeneum or C. elisae, but I do not know which characters would allow this hypothesis to be confirmed or rejected.

I can only reject C. elisae:
Paul: "Rather blackish and apparently with only four rows of acrostichals: elisae."
