aeneoventris is the West Nearctic species that keys out with
obesa. In Quebec compare
Phasia robertsonii instead: "Sternite VII (sheath) longer than sternite VI, tapered, narrow apically, slightly bent, apex directed dorsally, sternite VII with linear wrinkles ventrally. Ovipositor bent upward."
