Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Scathophagidae: Scathophaga stercoraria ♂

Hello,

I photographed this fly in Val Udai (TN), Italy, 2100m a.s.l. on August 2nd 2023. Is it a Scathophaga stercoraria? Or are there some similar species it can be confused with?

No other Scathophaga with this colouration an dark antennae. A male.
