Hello once more,

I found this approximately 8 mm fly yesterday in the Black Forest too. Belongs the fly also to genus Thricops?

Greetings Siggi

Hi Eric,

once again many thanks to you. Then I'll leave it at Hydrotaea sp. and I'm happy to now know the correct genus.

Greetings Siggi

Hydrotaea (possibly dentipes) seems to me the best possible answer.
