Found in moth trap on 17th of October 2023 Warwickshire UK.

ID of Sylvicola is "easy" :-) Simply take the photo, collect it, send it to me and you can get the name for your pictures ;-)
Mission impossibble without it...

Thanks that’s what I’d heard. Genus is fine for these.

That may not be entirely impossible in the UK. Have a look at what they say on Naturespot.org.uk.

May be possible on diptera.info too: Sylvicola (Anisopoda) punctatus, frequent, develops in cow pads.
