Hello together,

I found this fly on 05/12/21 in south-west Germany on a light forest path. Unfortunately I can not give any information about the size. Can you still identify the fly?

Hello Siggi, I think it's a male Carcelia iliaca.

Def8nitely Carcelia, but vertex seems too narrow for iliaca. Difficult genus

Right - and mid tibia has only 1 ad! :S
