Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinidae. cadzand-bad, Netherlands

Which genus/species could it be? It has quite distinctive genitalia. If necessary I can dry them and take additional photos. 2 males in a yellow pan trap, eind of April 2022, Cadzand-Bad, Netherlands.

but the scutellum is totally dark ?

I looked again at the flies, I am sorry, I misread Tschornig, tergite 2 is dorsally not hollowed to the edge which leads to Phorocera obscura not P. assimilis and yes the scutellum is totally dark.
