Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Dolichopodidae - Sciapus sp. (male and female)

Hello,
July 29, 2022 in the house in the south of France.
I suppose there is a female and a male.
Both have long legs.
The smallest is 4.5 mm (body).

The larger one measures 5.8 mm (body)

Thank you very much Paul,
So the first one, the smallest one, would be the female.
And the second, the largest, would be the male.
I see that there are several Sciapus species in France and that the distinction seems rather difficult!
