Hello,
I photographed this fly near Barrea (AQ), Italy, 1100m a.s.l. on May 22nd 2022. I think it is a Tipulidae (maybe
Nephrotoma?), but is it possible to identify its species from these photos?

Hi Emanuele, I think it's a male Nephrotoma appendiculata (the reversed "U" between wingbase and halter).
