Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Muscidae: Phaonia sp.? --> Anthomyiidae

Resting and sunbathing on a watering can next to a compost heap. Mechernich-Satzvey (Germany), 40 km west of Cologne, 12 May 2022. Could it be Phaonia rufiventris or Phaonia subventa? Thank you for checking, I appreciate your help.

Hello,

too slender for a Phaonia. I would say, Anthomyiidae.
