Hi, I can't identify this S. , please help. Got it April 24th, this year in Germany, Lower Saxony, Celle, close to a small river.

Hello,

I don't know Eristalis jugorum in nature, but this fly looks a lot like Myathropa florea to me.

In summer we have lots of E. jugorum here. This picture does not show E. jugorum. Look in the gallery.

With these thorax markings and the abdomen colouration I am sure, it IS Myathropa florea. I would bet on it...
