Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Prosena siberita? => Siphona sp.

Good afternoon,

here are some pictures of a Tachinidae. Could it be Prosena siberita? However, I have never seen this species with a folded proboscis.

Body size approx. 4.5 mm

Found 2022-04-11, sandy dry grassland in southwest Germany.

Hi, not Prosena - I think it's one of the very difficult Siphona.
