Good afternoon
is this Epistrophe melanostoma? Size ~ 10 mm. Found 2022 - 03 - 23 in the garden in southwest Germany.

too early for
Epistrophe melanostoma. I think, this is a male
Syrphus.
P.S.: Syrphids should be posted in the Syrphidae subforum.
