I thought this was a common Calliphora vomitoria, so never took more than this one photo, but I think it't something different.

Moin Ray, it's a male Muscina levida: apex scutellum red, vein M only slightly bowed.

Moin Eric,
Yes, I noticed that slight reddish scutellum which made me wonder what it was. To me the wing veins just looked a bit unusual but now that you point it out I see it's because that M vein is not as bowed as normal.

The resembling M. prolapsa has a distincly stronger bowed vein.
