Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Ichno or Symphyta? -> Pimpla rufipes (Ichno)

Initially thought it was a Siricid but the waist is becoming smaller, although not much - so an Ichneumonid after all?

Hi Lorin, Ichno - Pimpla rufipes, I think.
Schmiedeknecht P. instigator:
Black, legs red - only coxae, trochanters, tarsi III black.
Length ovipositor approx. half length abdomen. IV - X
