Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Culiseta annulata? --> Ochlerotatus cantans

The pointed abdomen tip indicates Aedes or Ochlerotatus, and the detail of the leg banding suggest Ochlerotatus cantans to me, but this is in a tricky group of species, and I would be wary of a photo-based identification.
