No idea about its ID. Maybe a Myopa species?
In Minas de Riotinto, Huelva province. About 5mm.

Hmm, proboscis too short for
Melanosoma, too long for
Myopa; body to shiny for
Zodion; eyes too small for
Thecophora. I must have missed one or more genera...
