Hello,

I nearly always find this species in September/October, so this male from today at a dogwood bush (northwest Germany) was very early. From the much weaker spring generation?

Yes, there is a weak spring generation, more strongly in the Mediterrenean.

Do check for male aurulans, but here you are fine !
