Captured on ivy.
Genus possible (Dendrosoter ?) ?
Cuise-La-Motte (Northen France) - 4 mm - 18-04-2021.

Hi Michel, onebody here ;)
I'm quite confident, that you are right with Dendrosoter and two visible characters lead to D. protuberans: the malar space is half the height of the compound eye - also the wing venation. If you still have the specimen, count the antennal segments: if 28-32, I think it is most probably protuberans.

Bonsoir Michel,

thanks for the offer but I'm not (yet) prepared to work with specimens on a microscopic base.
It seems, that we have one more species, Dendrosoter curtisii, which I cannot exclude as I have no information about it.
