Dear all,
Here is a Tachnid question.
Specimen is from central France (loire atlantique, dry habitat).
Following central key, I endend on
Bithia (B modesta if I try to go to species identification)
But I must be wrong, has the front is much narrower than should be and arista has no hairs.
So a little help to go further?
I am not totaly sure it is not a Rhinophoridae, subscutellum is totally hidden (but there is no petiole on wing)
Best wishes,
clovis
