Dear fly-forum,
I took this picture October 12th in my garden.
I believe it to be a Nephrotoma. Is that correct and can it be further identified?

Best regards, Niek

Yes, it is a Nephrotoma. Catalogue of the craneflies of the world (P. Oosterbroek) lists 18 species from the Netherlands. It would be very difficult to id this image since the keys for identifying the species of crane flies are relied heavily on male genitalia.
