Hello to all,
who can tell me, what kind (or at least what family) these flies are of? At the moment are Scatophagidae and Heleomyzidae in discussion.

Date: 16th March 2007
Location: Germany, Bavaria, close to the Austrian border (5km to Salzburg), at the edge of a march (with former peat cutting industry).
Altitude: about 430m NN
Flying around on this little branch, jumping on each other, but not copulating.

Best greetings
Rupert

Of course Heleomyzidae,
It should be a Scoliocentra species, I think :)
