Northern Germany, Schleswig-Holstein, island Fehmarn, "Southern seashore" to the Baltic Sea, in a small forest between the beach and a little lake, at reed. Outsidephotos: kuv, 27th of September 2019. Please help to get the ID

Hello kuv,

such a facial keel is a good indication of a male Pollenia pediculata.

you'd need to check the underside of the wing to be scientifically accurate.

A shot of that underside point is really difficult! (...and I think the fly will not like it. :D)

The underside of the wing is important,because some mistakes are made with wing vein variations.It isn't as easy to Id as other flies.Blow-flies are variable.
