Hello,

I would like to know if this species belongs to Anthomyia procellaris. It was collected in a pan trap in 09-11-18 at Son Gual (Majorca).

Looking at the shape of the pregonite...I am more thinking at A. quinquemaculata
We need to look at the shape of the postgonite, if there is a tuft present or not.

Dear Johanna,

I have checked the pre-and postgonite and I would say that it fits with the Anthomyia quinquemaculata.
