Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Surinamese beach fly | Sarcophagidae

This fly species was ubiquitous on the beach in Suriname. Not a nuisance fortunately, and mostly staying very low to the ground or even inside the tunnels of ghost crabs (like this specimen). Please help with an ID.

Thanks! At probably less than 1 cm quite small for Sarcophagidae, as far as I know. But now filed as such.
