Hello,
I found this orange fly in the Bentwoud area near Boskoop in the west of the Netherlands on 22 june. It looks like a Sapromyza, is this correct and is further ID possible?
thanks in advance,
Ramon

Hi Ramon, only on dot visible, but I think it's Sapromyza quadripunctata

One pair of spots on the abdomen, four rows of acrostichal setae:
Sapromyzosoma quadricincta. This is a female.
