Thread subject: Diptera.info :: unknown fly with wing spot

I saw this small fly on vegetation in the summer (June) at Farlington Marshes, South Hampshire. I would welcome any species identification or even Family group.

Thanks Tony. After checking out the image gallery I came to the same conclusion.
