Thread subject: Diptera.info :: ID help

Stumped with this one. Won't key to family for me. Found in somerset, UK on the coast last week. The criteria I used: 3 pars of F bristles all curving back, crossed P bristles, vibrasse present, all legs with pre-apicals, cell cup closed. Thanks.

Trixoscelis looks spot to me, thanks Tristram. It appears I was misinterpreting the F bristles.
