Sphaerophoria is rather hopeless, alas! While females cannot be identified, males as yours have better chances if microscopic characters of the genitalia are examined. Which is impossible with a photo. I can exclude a few species as to antenna colour and thoracic markings, but there are still many similar species left. Sorry!
