Hi everybody,
is it possible to identify the species from this picture? I have no idea about this familly.
Ispra, Italy, 193 m.a.s.l., lake bank

Looks like Chironomidae to me.

Tribe Chironomini.
Chaoboridae have more complex wing veins. Males have antenna hairs in rings instead of uniformly scattered. Gonostylus is longer and thinner.
The position of the front legs here, fore femur vertical and rest of leg horizontal, is distinctive for subfamily Chironominae.
