Hi,

i have photographed this fly yesterday.
Nucsoara (Hunedoara county, Romania, ~ 650m).
the fly was small, something like 5mm. just basking in the sun.

i think is a tachinid? but...
maybe an identification is possible.

thanks in advance,
cosmln

[EDIT] title changed

This is a female of Blaesoxipha s.l. (Sarcophagidae)

The xiphos (sword, the ovipositor) is clearly visible.
