Hello,

Seen in Savoy, 2007/7/17, 1750m.
Which Empididae is this?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Pierre,

It looks like Rhamphomyia spec. Maybe Paul can give his opinion!?

Looks like a plain ol' Empis tessellata...

Paul,

Since I didn't see a radial fork I thought it might be Rhamphomyia. The wings are probably just too much out of focus to see the fork.

Hello,

Sorry for upping such an old posting.
Do you think it could be a specimen parasited by Enthomophthorales ?
