Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Lovely Tachinidae

My turn to ask questions :) I'd like to hear your opinion on this very nice tachinid fly.

Locality: Karjaa, southern Finland
Date: 21.7.2007
Habitat: Varied, from open grassland to bare sand to wet young forest within 100m. Caught on Cirsium arvense flowers.

Looks like Subclytia rotundiventris to me but I am not too sure if you have other alternatives over there :)

No we dont :) I realised what the fly is a few minutes after posting the question. The species is in fact rather common here, oops :D
