please help me to ID this Bibionidae, if it is possible,

It is tricky, but if those strong veins in the wing are for real, and so it seems, it most certainly is Bibio reticulatus. The dark tibiae support this view.

Not so common species (though locally in high numbers).
Usually more in forests than on grasslands.
So, what is the tree ?

Hello Theo,

we habe a look in our collection and we show you the original foto,
we are sure it is a birch tree.
there are many birch trees and also other trees and bushes.

Yes, that is it !

That is atypical in my experience, nevertheless, I am quite convinced it is reticulatus.
