Hello everybody. This is mi first post in Diptera.info. I expect to send many more in the future.
Sorry I don't know the family of this fly. I would like to know at least that. It was in my house on 20/09/14. I've tried to identify it in some spanish forums but with no success.
Thanks in advance,

Could be Milichia albomaculata? According Fauna Europaea there are only two species of Milichia in spanish mainlad, Milichia albomaculata and Milichia speciosa. I think is not the last one, and I have found in the publication "The types of Diptera (Insecta) described by Pater Gabriel Strobl" that Milichia albomaculata has 'Nigra abdominis segmentis' that fits well with my specimen.

Better uses this catalogue as first point of reference for occurence in Spain in general:
http://www.sea-en...MSEA08.pdf. In this case I think Fauna Europaea is up to date, though we have some discussion about the occurence of
M. canariensis on the Spanish mainland (see
HERE).
The quote you gave from Strobl's description is very short and incomplete and, more 'problematic', his description is based on males. The complete description states that the abdominal segments are black (as you quoted) BUT segments 2-4 have white markings and segment 5 is completely white. The wings are hyaline. In the other species, I think, the wings are not compltely hyaline, even in females. And that might argue that your female could be
albomaculata. Now the puncher: Did you collect the specimen for further study?

I'm afraid I didn't. In any case, I really appreciate your remarks. If I see it again I'll try to collect for a careful examination.
Thanks again,
