Further to my recent thread about a Heleomyzid fly, here the larva again, followed by a couple of photos of the (squashed) adult that I found in the container a few weeks later.

Actually, it is not really squashed. It failed to emerge from the puparium completely and dried out.

aaaah! OK... thanks. Inspired by the feedback from your excellent website, I just went into the park and collected some rotted Honey Fungus together with several more maggots!
