I think this is Tachinidae? Can't find the subscutellum as its covered by the wings. Can anyone suggest a subfamily or genera. At light. Townsville, Queensland.

I've just read that Miltogrammatinae have a more conical abdomen, which this fly has. Something to look out for in the future.

Valery is correct. Miltogramminae also have rather large lower calypteres. This is a species of genus Miltogramma (note lack of vibrissa).
